American Society of Association Executives Gala
On October 4, Executive Director Elizabeth Lucas, Senior Director of Program Services Lori Blair and other SIA staff members attended ASAE’s 18th Annual Summit Awards Dinner. Liz and Lori were on hand to personally accept the prestigious Power of A Summit Award for Dream It, Be It. The Live Your Dream Awards also were recognized as a Power of A gold winner. The grand gala, held at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C, brought together association executives, government officials, and business and community leaders for an evening to celebrate the value of associations and their impact on society. Dream It, Be It was one of only six winners of the distinguished Summit Award. Read more about the award, and see Lori’s video about why Dream It, Be It makes a difference for girls.
