2018 Convention
Cultural Events
On the first day of convention, Monday, July 30, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about Japanese culture with special presentations on calligraphy, tea ceremony, origami and kimono. Each workshop will have opportunities to practice what you have learned! Remember to sign up for the events when registering for convention—or go back to your convention registration and add them now! Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to experience the culture of our host country.

Early Registration—Ending Soon
Online registrations must be submitted by 23:59, Wednesday, May 30, Japan Standard Time, to receive the early registration rate. After that date, the registration fees increase 25 percent. After the early registration deadline, registrations are on a “first come, first serve” basis (some meals may sell out). So make your plans and register today!

SIA is working hard to bring you a new and engaging website! We collaborated with a reputable design firm (which also did, gathered input from leadership and members, and are making sure to deliver a responsive and mobile-friendly design that features our Dream Programs, highlights our impact, and boasts a better-organized members area. New Members Survey
As the end of the club year draws near, take some time to survey new members who joined us this year. You’ll gain valuable feedback for what’s working—and what isn’t. You can use this information to keep new members coming back next year AND make any necessary revisions to your recruitment plans.
