Meet your 2016-2017 SIA Leadership!
Elections for the 2016-2017 SIA president-elect, the 2016-2018 SIA Board of Directors, and Board appointments for the 2016-2018 Fundraising Council and the 2016-2017 Fundraising Council chair are now complete.  SIA will be led by 2016-2017 SIA President RoseMary Reid, SI/York Region, Eastern Canada Region, and 2016-2017 President-elect Yoko Ichigatani, SI/Oita-Midori, Japan Minami Region.

Congratulations to the newly elected 2016-2018 board members: Nobuko Fujii, SI/Imabari, Japan Nishi Region; Karen Cromer Johnson, SI/Twin Cities, North Central Region; Kathy King, SI/Klamath Falls, Northwestern Region; Dawn Marie Lemonds, SI/Newport Harbor Area, Desert Coast Region; Heidi McNamar, SI/Greater Hartford, Northeastern Region; Mariza Schuster Bueno, SI/Rio Negro, Brazil Region; and “Tina” Wei-Kang Pan, SI/Taipei, Taiwan Region. They will be joined by 2015-2017 board members Elizabeth DiGeronomo, SI/Miranda, America del Sur Region;  Dona Gaddis Wolf, SI/Pittsburg, Founder Region; Dana Martin, SI/The Tri-Cities, Western Canada Region; Virginia Peñalosa, SI/Mandaluyong, Philippines Region; Eriko Shinojima, SI/Takikawa, Japan Kita Region; and Ryoko Yasukawa, SI/Takaoka, Japan Chuo Region.

The SIA Board recently completed its appointments to the Fundraising Council. Congratulations to the newly appointed 2016-2018 members Lee Ann Cochran, SI/Columbus and Franklin County, Midwestern Region, and Paloma Papa, SI/Taguig, Philippines Region. They will join 2015-2017 members Margaret Gilbey, SI/Toronto, Eastern Canada Region; Tamra Sipes, SI/Oak Harbor, Northwestern Region; and Tracy Scala, SI/Farmington Valley, Northeastern Region, who has been appointed as the 2016-2017 Fundraising Council chair.

Your locally raised dollars are combining forces with contributions from around the world, and making an even bigger difference for women and girls at home and abroad.
